Add the powder to your cup, then pour in water — less for a stronger cup, more for a lighter one. That's really it. It dissolves instantly in hot or room-temperature water.
Cold water is trickier (the same reason salt and sugar resist ice water), so for iced coffee, dissolve it in room-temp water first, then add ice — no hot water needed.
